This Acceptable Usage Policy is a part the overall Terms of Service.
You must agree in full to the Terms of Service Agreement prior to using our service.
Violation of the Acceptable Use Policy in part or whole may result in suspension or partial suspension of the service or in cases of a severe or repeat violation termination of the service.
Prohibited Content
- Vulnerable Content
This includes everything with known security vulnerabilities. Example: scripts, extensions, add-ons, plug-ins etc . You must keep all scripts hosted under their account up-to-date and properly secured. - Adult Content
This includes all pornography, erotic images, or otherwise obscene content. We reserve the right to define what constitues Adult Materials - Illegal Content
This includes copyrighted works, commercial audio, video, or music files that are illegal and copy righted, and any material in violation of any applicable law or regulations. This also includes, without limitation, material protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property rights used without proper authorization or material that violates export control laws. - Warez Content
This includes pirated software, ROMS, emulators, phreaking, hacking, password cracking, IP spoofing, and encrypted or password protected versions of any of the above. This also includes any sites which provide “links to” or “how to” information about such material. - Other Content
This includes material that is obscene, indecent, defamatory, or constitutes an illegal threat. This also includes material we feels to be abusive or could affect the operation of the service or affect other users of the Internet. This also includes contents which encourages the commission of a crime; or which tends to incite violence; or which tends to degrade any person or group based on sex, nationality, religion, color, age, marital status, sexual orientation, disability or political affiliation.
Prohibited Resource Usage (on Hosting and Reseller Accounts):
You may NOT:
- Consume more than an average of 5% of overall server resources over a 24 hour period.
- Run background processes at any point in time on the server.
- Run any cron jobs or scheduled tasks more than once per five (5) minute period.
- Run any software that interacts with an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) network.
- Run any process that requires more than 128MB of memory space or uses more than 30 CPU seconds.
- Run any type of security, port or vulnerability scan or conduct load or benchmark testing either directly or indirectly.
- Run any process which interacts with the MySQL database service using persistent connections.
- Run any process to proxy or relay traffic or requests of any type. This includes but is not limited to streaming media servers and proxy servers.
- Run any type of interactive chat software that requires server resources. Remotely-hosted services are allowed.
- Make any fraudulent offers to sell or buy products, items, or services, or to advance any type of financial scam such as “pyramid schemes” and “chain letters.”
- Use the provided storage for mass storage of backups, files, audio, video, zip files or others at our discretion
- Use the provided storage for of mass distribution of files, such as torrents or mirrors.
- Use resources to collect, or attempt to collect, personal information about third parties without their knowledge or consent.
The prohibited resource usage does not apply to managed cloud, dedicated and cloud servers.
